Have you ever wondered what makes Windows systems increasingly popular day by day? The answer lies in the excellent combination of intuitiveness, modern features, and reliability offered by Microsoft. On the one hand, there is the highly flexible Windows Server 2022 Data Center, which supports highly virtualized data centers and offers support for companies seeking efficient and scalable solutions. On the other hand, there are products such as the Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Key and the Microsoft Windows 11 Home Key, which are becoming increasingly important both in everyday use and in business applications.
The highest edition with unlimited VMs, Secured-Core, Azure Stack HCI and TLS 1.3
Windows Server 2022 Datacenter combines unlimited virtualization with next-generation security. Secured-Core Server protects everything from firmware to applications, TLS 1.3 encrypts all communication, and Azure Stack HCI enables a true hybrid cloud environment. Unlimited Hyper-V VMs, Storage Spaces Direct, Storage Replica, Shielded VMs and full Azure Arc integration make this the platform built for the data centers of the future.
Unlimited virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), Kubernetes and Azure Arc. A complete platform for next-generation data centers.
Secured-Core, Shielded VMs, TLS 1.3, Encrypted Subnets. Compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and government requirements.
Hyper-converged infrastructure managed from Azure. Azure VM licensing, updates through Azure Update Management and unified administration.
Kubernetes with Windows and Linux, smaller container images, native orchestration and production-scale microservices.
Run any number of Windows Server VMs on a single host. Improved nested virtualization, persistent memory for VMs and cross-version host compatibility.
Firmware-level protection: VBS, HVCI, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Blocks rootkits and hardware-level attacks. The highest level of protection available for Windows Server.
Hyper-converged infrastructure managed from Azure. Connect on-premises and cloud resources, use Azure VM licensing and manage the full lifecycle from one console.
Software-defined storage with local disks. Supports up to 4 PB, automatic NVMe/SSD/HDD tiering, replication and resilience across multiple nodes.
TLS 1.3 is enabled by default for all communication. SMB over QUIC allows secure access to network shares without a VPN, over the internet, with end-to-end encryption.
Synchronous and asynchronous data replication between servers and locations. Block-level disaster recovery with automatic failover.
Software-Defined Networking with automatic encryption of traffic between VMs. Network Controller, Software Load Balancer and network virtualization at data-center scale.
Manage on-premises servers from Azure Portal. Azure Policy, Azure Defender, Azure Automation and full infrastructure visibility in one dashboard.
Server 2022 Datacenter is Microsoft’s most powerful and longest-supported server platform, with support until 14 October 2031. The combination of unlimited virtualization, Secured-Core Server and TLS 1.3 makes it one of the most secure options on the market.
Azure Stack HCI and native Azure Arc integration make it possible to build a true hybrid cloud, with on-premises hardware managed from Azure Portal. This is significantly cheaper than a full migration to the public cloud while still delivering modern management and monitoring.
Licensier offers original license keys with instant digital delivery, full technical support and a VAT invoice. We help you plan licensing, complete activation and configure advanced Datacenter, Azure Arc and Azure Stack HCI features.

Datacenter 2022 vs Standard 2022: Datacenter offers unlimited VMs (vs 2), S2D, Storage Replica, Shielded VMs and Azure Stack HCI. Standard is sufficient for 1-2 VMs. Datacenter 2022 vs 2019: the newer version adds Secured-Core, TLS 1.3 by default, SMB over QUIC, improved Azure Arc, smaller containers and support until 2031 (vs 2029). Upgrading from 2019 is a major step forward in security.

Key improvements include Secured-Core Server, TLS 1.3 enabled by default, SMB over QUIC, enhanced Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI, smaller containers (-40%), support for 48 TB RAM (vs 24 TB), DNS over HTTPS and extended support until 2031.
Azure Stack HCI is hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) that connects on-premises servers with the Azure cloud. You manage the cluster from Azure Portal, use Azure VM licensing and gain access to Azure Backup, Azure Monitor and Azure Defender.
Yes, Secured-Core requires a processor with VBS support, TPM 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot and DMA Protection. Most modern Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers meet these requirements. Without compatible hardware, Server 2022 still works, but without full Secured-Core protection.
An unlimited number. Datacenter does not limit Windows Server VMs. You can also run an unlimited number of Windows and Hyper-V containers. The only limitation is the physical server hardware.
SMB over QUIC provides secure access to network shares over the internet without a VPN. It uses port 443 (HTTPS), encrypts traffic end-to-end and does not require VPN configuration on client devices. Ideal for remote work.
Yes, all Windows Server editions (Standard, Datacenter) require CAL licenses. The CAL version is universal, so the same license works with all server editions and versions.
Extended support runs until 14 October 2031. This is the longest-supported current version of Windows Server, nearly 10 years from release.
Server 2025 adds hotpatching (updates without rebooting) and enhanced Azure Arc. However, it is newer and less proven. Server 2022 Datacenter is a secure, mature choice with support until 2031. Both versions are excellent; the right choice depends on your priorities.
