Can I transfer a Device CAL to another device?
Yes, a Device CAL can be reassigned to a new device, but not more frequently than once every 90 days from the last assignment. The exception is permanent hardware failure, in which case reassignment is immediate. Every reassignment should be recorded in the license register.
